Senior Financial Analyst

A great UHY client is seeking both a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidates will have manufacturing experience, strong excel and analysis skills, and strong collaborating skills.

The Financial Analyst role is a hybrid position with 3 days each week being in office. This will start after the 90 day training period. Additionally, the week of month end close will fully be in office. This is a client direct hire position.

Financial Analyst Job Responsibilities:

• Budgeting/forecasting models and evaluation of various scenarios
• Development of complex excel models to evaluate program launches
• Research, data mining and analysis of financial info
• Collaborate closely with cross functional teams
• Develop summarization of results and present to execs (Controller, plant manager, and members from corporate executive team)
• Responsiveness and attention to detail required

Financial Analyst Required Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor degree required, with a major in accounting or finance
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a financial analyst required
• Manufacturing experience required, automotive industry preferred
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience with large ERP systems, SAP preferred
• Strong financial and data analysis skills
• Very Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow-up and see tasks/research through
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills.
