Robert Half Marketing & Creative is seeking Senior Events Manager with medical device and/or medical industry experience. The client is seeking a candidate who not only fits the skills required but is also passionate about making a tangible impact in the healthcare industry through exceptional event management.


  • Spearhead the strategy, planning, coordination, and implementation of all U.S.-based events and conferences to ensure an alignment with strategic goals
  • Oversee personnel, delivery, schedules, budgeting, and event logistics, ensuring meticulous detail to achieve perfect execution of each event.
  • Work cross functionally with the marketing, sales, and other teams to guarantee that events meet multi-departmental requirements and accomplish expected outcomes.
  • Analyze event performance using data-driven metrics to measure success and drive future event improvements/performance.
  • Act as a proactive problem solver, prepared to make quick decisions during event planning and execution stages to tackle challenges efficiently.
  • Work in unison with the Sales and Marketing heads on the yearly event strategy and budget, ensuring the client stays within budget and meets established targets.
  • Take charge of all procedures related to events, including the processes of setting up and dismantling, as well as addressing any eleventh-hour event requests.
  • Work closely with international teams as needed to assist with their event planning needs (booth design, invoice processing, etc.)


Requirements

  • A minimum of seven years of experience in event management, specifically on a global scale within the medical device industry.
  • Proven competency in handling numerous projects at the same time with extreme attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including weekends. When not traveling, the office is hybrid with 3 days a week onsite.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting boxes, setting up, and dismantling event booths.
