Senior Director of Logistics

A leader in the Food and Beverage space is currently seeking a Senior Director of Logistics to develop and lead outbound freight, logistics network, and order fulfillment operations while ensuring control over inventory, order management, and invoicing. The successful candidate will be able to develop operational strategies and third-party relationships to achieve these objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement anticipatory strategies over warehousing and distribution by utilizing and building upon internal capabilities, as well as establishing and managing strategic relationships with 3PL partners
• Develop the infrastructure and workflow for product availability within core-business areas focusing on optimizing working capital, cost, and service levels through effective logistics management, network models, and overall supply chain strategy for international business expansion
• Define requirements for system enhancements or efficiency opportunities; coordinate testing and training and ensure SOPs and documentation are updated for effective utilization of existing systems and implementation of new systems
• Develop and update the roadmap for warehousing and fulfillment strategy to ensure organizational alignment and empowerment to execute the strategy

Key Qualifications:

• 10+ years of industry experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related field
• BA in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
• Sufficient understanding of WMS, MRP, and ERP systems to lead effective execution in logistics and supply chain
