Senior Designer

Paladin is now LHH Recruitment Solutions! We are partnering with our long-time wellness and consumer goods client in their search for a fully remote Senior Designer to join their team on a permanent basis. As the newest member of their design team and a true senior, you will be responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams and leaders to ideate for campaigns, events, product, packaging and similar. You will support design efforts from concept to execution, leveraging Adobe Creative Suite expertise and any additional skills that make you a well-rounded designer. As a senior member of the team, you will work with junior staff to keep design projects on task and provide some art direction. This is a growth opportunity into a creative leadership role in the next year or so, so experience working with or managing junior staff is a big plus, and an interest in management is a must. To be a fit, you should bring 5+ years of dedicated B2C design experience. Experience in consumer products or similar consumer industries, working across a variety of design mediums, is required.

This is a fully remote role but there is a strong preference for candidates currently in PST or in close proximity the West Coast. There will be some opportunity to travel to events and all-hands team meetings (<10% annually). This is a salaried role ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually with potential for bonus depending on company and individual performance. You will:

• Ideate and execute on a variety of graphic, brand, print and similar design projects for the company
• Develop design projects that work across all brand experiences, from packaging and products to digital
• Collaborate with leaders, cross-functional partners, internal creatives and external partners to scope new design projects, guiding creative vision and art direction for a variety of projects
• Master and champion brand guidelines for the parent organization and partner brands, serving as a subject matter expert for brand standards
• Mentor junior design staff, providing art direction, feedback and support

Your experience should include:

• 5+ years of experience in design with a strong digital portfolio showcasing work across print, digital, visual and brand design
• Deep knowledge and experience in B2C organizations, ideally consumer products, wellness, apparel or similar
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, highly preferred
• Expert Adobe Creative Suite experience; Additional technical proficiencies and skills in 3D design, illustration or similar, a big plus
• Experience in a senior role with an interest in management, required; Experience as a lead or direct supervisor, preferred
