As Senior Designer you will:

• Contribute to trend direction for each season.
• Shop and research trends seasonally for inspiration.
• Work on a variety of projects ranging from Celebrity and Brand Partnerships to core product lines.
• Drive product concept through design and development process, including materials, trims, the creation of silhouettes, and fit blocks.
• Design through CAD or hand sketches.
• Prepare and present designs through illustrations, CAD, fabrication, inspiration, and samples.
• Ensure product designs support brand image, line plans, assortment strategies, and price points.
• Have in-person fittings with the support of technical design and MGMT.
• International and domestic travel.

Your Experience and Skills include:

• 7+ years experience in at least two of the following categories: Denim, RTW, Intimates, and Curve/Plus.
• Experience at a trend-driven brand or retailer focused on the Northern American and European markets.
• Nimble, scrappy and adaptable. Can roll with the punches and thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; can patiently and effectively communicate with a diverse and multicultural group of peers across time zones and continents.
• Computer design system skills including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Major bonus points if you’re fluent in Mandarin.
