Electronics Design Engineer

A rapidly growing Aviation and Aerospace manufacturing company is looking to hire a Senior Design Engineer to join their Electronics Engineering Team. This is a full-time, direct growth role located in West Hartford, CT. In this role, you will develop custom solutions for a variety of electronic engine control applications and execute all technical aspects of a given program while ensuring that cost and schedule objectives are being met.

Senior Electronics Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other cross-functional team leads and engineers to plan and execute projects
• Ensure teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively by establishing realistic timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines.
• Perform Design Assurance and/or Qualification Testing
• Perform requirements development, allocation and compliance assessment
• Generate block diagrams for various design concepts and circuit topologies
• Perform preliminary and detailed analyses
• Ensure overall compliance to TECS internal processes
• Support internal and external customer meetings
• Support the transition of a program from development to production

Senior Electronics Design Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's Preferred)
• 5+ years of relevant avionics design experience (Aerospace Preferred)
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes in an aerospace electronics environment.
• Experience with Analog Circuit design focus & knowledge of Digital Interfacing
• Experience with CAD Tools, Modelling & Simulation Tools, & Programming
