Business Process Analyst, Process Innovation & Automation


This position is open to all candidates, both hybrid and remote.


Role Type: Contingent Worker, 3-month assignment


Summary:

Be part of the exciting innovation taking place at Osaic! One will have the opportunity to be part of the Process Innovation & Automation team and make significant contributions to the experiences of our Financial Professionals and Home Office staff through designing strategic roadmaps that set the future course for digital automation in the coming years.


The Business Process Analyst will play a critical role in leveraging Lean Six Sigma principles to deep dive into Supervision function processes within our Supervision function. The ideal candidate has direct experience working in wealth management, financial services industries, focused on supervision, compliance and/or regulatory roles. This position requires a keen understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools to rapidly comprehend, analyze, and improve complex business workflows. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in business process analysis and hold a Six Sigma Greenbelt certification.


Responsibilities:

  • Produce a comprehensive value stream map of the Supervision function highlighting interactions with internal and external customers, identifying value-added and non-value-added activities, and action recommendations to remediate and resolve pain points.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify areas for process improvement, waste reduction, and efficiency enhancement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and develop strategic recommendations for investment consideration.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Lead stakeholder meetings and workshops to gather requirements, share findings, and obtain buy-in for proposed solutions.
  • Create detailed process maps, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) using tools such as MS Visio.
  • Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership, effectively communicating complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with ETS (Information Technology) teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes into existing systems, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure successful implementation and adoption of process improvements, including creation of control charts, dashboards, etc.


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Will consider candidates without a bachelor’s degree in lieu of equivalent work experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification


Basic Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in business process analysis, with a focus on wealth management, financial services supervision/compliance/regulatory functions.
  • Proven experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies, including process mapping, root cause analysis, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement.
  • Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt certification.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to effectively navigate fast-paced work environment, quickly understanding complex processes and asking critical open-ended questions to drive strategic solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Expert communication to others to convey information effectively as well as communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially process analysis details that drive transformative impact to business processes.
  • Highly organized, self-motivator, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal direction.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Visio, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel if needed for in person meetings (less than 10%).
