Senior Business Data Analyst (Healthcare)
NOTE: Virtual interviews will be conducted through MS Teams. The chosen candidate(s) will be required to be onsite in Frankfort, Kentucky for two days for Onboarding.
- Analyze and design computer functions, programs, and applications.
- Participate in defining technology solutions to improve business decision-making with a focus on solving complex, multidisciplinary business problems with long-term implications.
- Develop comprehensive Microsoft Visio flowcharts to visualize and communicate process workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights for accurate documentation
- Support and work with project teams to implement technology solutions.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously ensuring all documentation is provided and updated accordingly meeting project timelines.
- Effectively communicate with technical teams and document business and IT information in line with agreed processes and procedures.
Other Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Meet and communicate with Medicaid stakeholders to understand and meet their requirements.
- Recommend new solutions to technology strategies and standards.
- Identify and recommend process improvements
- Ensure compliance with Medicaid policies, rules, and regulations. • Proactively identify potential implementation issues and plan/implement mitigation strategies and help monitor/ track them.
- Balance technology and effectively communicate with technical teams and document business and IT information in line with agreed processes and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of recent, relevant work experience.
- 3+ years' experience of technical or systems related analysis preferably in healthcare industry
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Experience in software development, system analysis, or design.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Client Healthcare Programs (i.e., Medicaid).
- Broad experience with Microsoft Visio and SharePoint.
- Experience with Business Process Modeling
- Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently and in conjunction with team members.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks at any one time while maintaining high quality standards.
- Experience defining business problems, gathering, and documenting requirements, and determining solutions to meet requirements.
