Role and Opportunity Overview:

The role will also offer an unsurpassed opportunity to learn about the strategic, financial, and administrative challenges in building a successful business.

More specifically, we are looking for a member of our team who will:

• Support the business staffing activities such as creating and maintaining position descriptions, hiring posts, reviews and other human resource records, enabling us to meet aggressive growth targets, while helping build and maintain a high performing business culture.
• Facilitate the business planning and strategic planning functions, working directly with the Executive Chair/CEO and the leadership team on investigation, prioritization, and implementation of growth initiatives, strategic partnerships, capital raising and investor relations, including building and maintaining budgets, financial projections, business plans, and KPI tracking.
• Support the scoping, prioritization, road mapping, and early development of new offerings.
• Plug holes in the day-to-day operational and logistics needs of the business.
• Support the operational needs of the business including ensuring clear process and procedures, a secure and functioning IT infrastructure, and other corporate records.

In addition to the above, we are looking for someone with the following attributes:

• 2+ Years of business analytics experience in accounting, finance, consulting or a startup environment.
• Finance and HR experience is a plus.
• Given the sensitive nature of the data being accessed as well as the financial responsibilities associated with this role, the highest integrity, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality is paramount.
• Small team leadership experience is a plus.
• Experience in the Built Environment is a plus.
• Experience with business networks and information platforms is a plus.
• Experience in startups and/or entrepreneurial environments is a plus.

Note: The role must be based in Chicago, and will, in general, require the person to be onsite at our 515 N State St. Chicago headquarters. It is not hybrid or remote.
