Job Description

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Primarily responsible for quarterly reporting for our joint ventures. Responsibilities include:

• Coordination of Private Equity reporting (Quarterly and Annual Financial Statements for joint ventures).
• Managing the Private Equity reporting team (2 accountants)
• Coordination of the financial statement external annual audits.
• Monthly and quarterly accounting responsibilities related to the joint ventures.
• Responding to joint venture investor requests
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• CPA
• 5-7 years of experience in accounting/reporting/private equity, preferably within the real estate industry
• Public accounting experience is a plus
• Able to manage a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• WDesk software knowledge is a plus
• MRI software knowledge a plus
• Able to effectively manage relationships with stakeholders across the company
• Team-oriented, enthusiastic individual who works well under tight deadlines
