Senior Accountant-Financial Reporting

Our growing venture backed client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join a growing accounting and finance team. The position is open due to growth in the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a mix of large public accounting and corporate GL accounting experience. The position is located extremely close proximity to both bus and train and will require 5 days a week in office at start with some hybrid capability in future. Only local candidates to the greater Philly area should apply.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Previous Large Public Audit and Assurance CPA firm experience is preferred.
• Strong General Ledger Accounting experience including accruals and prepaids etc.
• Assisting Monthly Financial close process that is reporting into investors/venture backed capital organization.
• Monthly Adjusting Journal Entries.
• Ability to do some research on recent technical pronouncements.
• Experience with working with external CPA Firm auditors.
• Budgeting and forecasting for FPA Manager.
• Strong Familiarity and Advanced Excel Skills
• Ad hoc reports for Senior Management.
