MSL is currently seeking a Senior Account Executive for our Consumer Brands practice in our New York office. As an integral member of the team, this Senior Account Executive will be responsible for the development and execution of PR plans and leading day-to-day account activities for an iconic P&G brand.

You’ll be comfortable delegating work and direction to junior team members, working with your senior leaders to drive work forward and presenting to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in executing influencer, social, media and PR plans and day-to-day client activities for a well-known, cause-led CPG brand, including leading client calls, developing call reports, and project timelines
  • Support and drive influencer strategy and manage execution of influencer, celebrity and talent programs including the creation of plans, talent identification, development of briefs, social captions and visual direction; earned media experience a plus
  • Support negotiations and contracts for influencers/celebrity talent; manage influencer/celebrity talent communications and briefings with senior oversight Stay on top of what is happening in culture and on social and contribute to creative ideation and program development
  • Have strong understanding of social measurement and analytics
  • Develop in person and virtual event and live shopping execution logistics including vendor coordination, run of show document creation, real-time results management and budget management
  • Write strong media and consumer materials including persuasive press releases, key messages, fact sheets, spokesperson bios, etc. and have a general understanding of the media landscape
  • Support financial process for client programs including managing budget trackers, billing and invoicing/vendor payments for programs
  • Conduct research for plan creation, including independent desktop research as well as collaboration with in-house research/culture team on larger research initiatives
  • Provide oversight, guidance and mentorship to junior team members, contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Conduct media monitoring and provide proactive updates and opportunities for clients


Requirements/Skills:

  • BA/BS Degree in a related field
  • 3-4+ years of experience in PR, influencer, social media and/or a related field
  • Strong verbal communication skills and professionalism
  • Excellent writing skills are essential to this position, as well as great attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking and proactivity
  • Creative thinker with a pulse on what’s happening in culture; shares a passion for bringing forward-looking ideas to the team and client
  • Flexibility/versatility to tackle different tasks throughout the day and pivot with little or no warning based on client needs
  • Knowledge of social media tools such as Cision and Sprinklr are a plus


Compensation Range: $58,500-$92,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
