Overview:


The Senior Account Executive - Northeast is responsible for representing Moroccanoil hair and body product collections. Selling both retail and professional treatment products to existing Retail, Travel Retail and Spa/Hospitality accounts (professional treatment products where applicable) as well as potential new Retail, Travel Retail and Spa/Hospitality accounts Northeast US territory. The Senior Account Executive - Northeast will build and strengthen both existing and new relationships as well as seek business development opportunities through retail education, professional treatment training and event/promotional opportunities based on the specific needs of each account within the territory.


Tasks & Responsibilities:


  • Understand the Moroccanoil brand messaging to support all Moroccanoil product collections.
  • Responsible for the territories of Northeast US; NY, NJ, VT, NH, MA, ME, CT, RI
  • Develop and implement a long-term growth strategy for each account, including:
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for accounts in the designated territory, with monthly or bimonthly calls/visits based on account volume.
  • Creating strategic action plans for each account to meet company sales goals.
  • Cultivating existing account relationships to maintain and drive comp door growth.
  • Organizing and delivering product knowledge and technical education tailored to each account's needs; coordinating advanced education with internal staff where necessary.
  • Planning and executing marketing and promotional events.
  • Ensuring accounts receive appropriate support aligned with their annual shipping targets and program levels.
  • Primary liaison for Corporate Point Person:
  • Military Channel: MCX, AAFES, NAVY
  • Responsible for overseeing the business partnership with Moroccanoil's third-party military channel management company.
  • Duties encompass managing the annual budget, coordinating seasonal programming (omni), handling education/event gifting needs, overseeing visual merchandising planograms, organizing seasonal market meetings, and managing inventory (including Monthly RTV, Seasonal Assortment Review, and Monthly Basic Replenishment
  • Retailer:
  • Oversee all retailer business requirements, including:
  • Acting as the liaison with Retailer HQ.
  • Collaborating with internal departments (Account Management, Marketing, Education/Events, Digital, Visual Merchandising) to ensure timely execution of inventory and marketing initiatives aligned with the seasonal marketing calendar.
  • Identify, profile and prospect new business targeted accounts within the defined territory.
  • Open approved new prospect accounts that offer an opportunity to incorporate Moroccanoil hair/body retail/professional products as well as integrate hair and body treatments on to the service menu where applicable.
  • Identify talent, train, and manage both seasonal schedules and budget to support freelance staff to minimize travel expense within assigned territory.
  • Achievement of sales goals/shipping goals/inventory management for both the body and hair collection
  • Manage retail return authorizations on a case-by-case basis to ensure proper stock assortment is maintained.
  • Submit monthly expense report based on the Moroccanoil expense account guidelines; manage expenses based on the seasonal/annual expense budget.
  • Ensure each account adheres to the Moroccanoil merchandising brand standards.
  • Submitting all required internal forms promptly (Expense Reports/ERF’s/PRF’s – Weekly Reports, Freelance Timesheets, etc.,)
  • Participate and support key Moroccanoil trade events either within the specific territory or national events such as but not limited to ISPA, Live Love Spa events, Spa Association functions and travel retail tradeshows.
  • Any other task the Employer may consider essential in ensuring the normal operations of the Employer’s business processes and that falls into the category of ability of the Employee.

  • Ability to work on weekends as needed.
  • Ability to travel to support the ongoing needs of the business.


Skills & Abilities:


  • Bachelor’s degree – preferred but not required.
  • Previous Retailer HQ management experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Beauty industry working with prestige beauty brands.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
