Seasonal Summer Worker

Description

The Facilities Management Office is seeking summer seasonal workers (May – August) in a variety of different positions. All seasonal positions are paid at $14/hour.

Required Qualifications

• All applicants must be at least 16 years of age, a work permit is required.
  
  

Open Positions Include

• General Cleaning
  
  

Under supervision, the individual performs custodial and light maintenance duties including:

• Dusting
• Vacuuming
• General cleaning
• Restocking supplies
• Maintenance Worker
  
  
Under Supervision, The Individual Performs Maintenance Duties Including

• Light building maintenance tasks
• Painting
• Changing filters in equipment
• Moving furniture
• Grounds Crew
  
  
Under Supervision, The Individual Performs Grounds Duties Including

• Weed eating
• Push mowing
• Raking leaves, Leaf pick-up
• Trash pick-up
• Moving furniture
• Fire Boss
• Attend scheduled Bonfires (typically evenings)
• Chop wood for the fire
• Light Bonfire
• Remain close by to maintain fire and monitor for safety
• Put the fire out at the end of the event
• Office Worker
• Data Entry
• Answering phones
• Typing
• Filing, organization
• Various uses of copy machine
