Search Engine Optimization Specialist
As an SEO/SEM Analyst you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our online presence and increasing our reach within the hotel and hospitality industry. Your expertise in search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) will contribute to expanding our brand's visibility, attracting potential customers, and ultimately driving growth in our business.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify opportunities for increasing organic search visibility within the hotel and hospitality sector.
- Optimize on-page content, including website copy, meta tags, images, and other elements, to improve search engine rankings and user experience.
- Develop and execute effective link-building strategies to enhance the authority and credibility of our website within the industry.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the content team to create high-quality, SEO-friendly content that addresses the needs and interests of our target audience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and search engine algorithm changes to ensure our strategies remain effective and compliant.
- Manage and optimize paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads) to maximize ROI and reach our target audience effectively.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to SEO and SEM efforts, providing insights and recommendations to enhance campaign performance.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation within the electronic distribution and hospitality markets.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align SEO/SEM strategies with overall marketing goals and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SEO/SEM Analyst, preferably within the hospitality or hotel related industry.
- In-depth understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Moz, etc.
- Hands-on experience with managing Google Ads and/or Bing Ads campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create compelling and optimized content.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
