Job Description
We are looking for a Scientist- Experienced Products Research / Product Development to join the transformative platform technology organization. 1TPT’s mission is to accelerate P&G’s growth through constructive disruption enabled by emerging technology solutions through our BU-partnered and disruptive portfolios. We work on technology platforms to transform the industry solving the trade-off between performance and sustainability. The team is innovating on new and existing jobs to be done across different categories. This is an upstream R&D role where developing products research mastery, leadership and multi-functional collaboration will be essential for your day to day work. The role will require developing in-depth consumer understanding across a number of categories, own creating consumer / technical models and work closely with formulation partners to innovate on new jobs to be done.
Job Responsibilities
Execute with Excellence – Candidate should be disciplined with high attention-to-detail to be able to deliver with excellence on the design and execution of the technical work needed.
Technical Curiosity - Candidate should have an intertest in scientific experimentation and be interested in spending appropriate time running experimental studies and seeking to interpret/understand the results. Previous Products Research experience is a plus.
Operates with Discipline - Candidate must have a strong sense of urgency and bias towards action to prepare, place, and analyze studies on project timelines.
Collaboration - Candidate should be able to effectively build collaborative relationships within R&D and Commercial partners.
Embraces Change/Agility - Candidate should be able to handle multiple priorities and be able to adapt to changing needs of the business/project. Flow to the work mentality is a must.
Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience. Job Responsibilities
- Placing consumer studies
- Analyzing qualitative and qualitative data sets to generate insights to enhance product innovation
- Model data to connect data sets
- Create consumer learning plans to aid product development that is inspired by the consumer
- Prepare documentation to release consumer studies to ensure compliance with P&Gs PVPs
- 2- 4 years of experience in Consumer Market Research (data based or interviewing, etc).
- Experience with placing consumer usage tests including getting GPS approvals, documenting in Nexus etc.
- Programming of surveys (AYTM)
- Analysis of quantitative data (Excel, JMP)
- Basic stats understanding (for PR)
