Job Description: Scientist or Senior Scientist, High-Throughput Biology
Responsibilities include:
Work in a highly collaborative team focused on advancing our gene editing platforms.
Develop innovative assays to investigate thousands of library members.
Lead technology development strategy and design/build/test improved systems.
Lead engineering and characterization of novel editing systems with high-throughput experimentation.
Maintain detailed, well-organized, and timely documentation of experiments and data.
Effectively analyze and present data, and communicate research plans and timelines to the team.
Collaborate with the bioinformatics team to build robust screening workflows.

Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or a related field or B.S./ B.A. with 5+ years of biotech industry experience.
Mammalian cell culture experience.
Lentivirus library design and preparation.
NGS library construction and sequencing.
NGS data analysis.
Critical thinker with excellent communication skills who thrives in a multidisciplinary fast-paced team environment.

Attention to detail, with the ability to extract deep insights from data.
Ability to go from ideation to data in an independent fashion.
Long-term personal vision with defined career goals.
Experience with CRISPR-Cas systems and/or gene editing and delivery technologies.

Experience with in vivo studies.
