Retoucher

Position Summary

We are seeking a freelance Retoucher with a strong eye for color and detail that thrives in a fast paced environment to join the in-house photo studio as the point person for executing the post production of high-end ecomm imagery for the brand. You will work closely with vendors to oversee workflows, deliver effective color accurate product matching while also ensure QC for all assets for the site.

Primary Duties (Identified Essential Functions*)

• You will be overseeing all post-production needs to deliver high quality product photography for the brand.*
• Inhouse product color matching and ensure consistency across product line. Cropping, resizing as needed.*
• Responsible for QC of vendor-supplied images.*
• Work with DAM admin to adhere to standardized file management workflow for the digital asset management system
• Occasionally provide high-end retouching as required by the brand and design team on lifestyle imagery
• A flexible and can-do attitude while being about to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Work will need to be performed in studio with some flexibility to work from home as the work allows
• Additional tasks and responsibilities assigned as necessary
  
  
  

Required General Knowledge & Skill

• Experience working in e-commerce/commercial studios.*
• Highly skillful in Adobe Suite: Photoshop CC, Bridge, Acrobat, Illustrator and InDesign.*
• Experienced in Capture One.*
• Proficient at using both Apple OSX operating system and Microsoft Office, including Teams, Outlook, Excel and SharePoint
• Understand how to access and navigate file servers and web-based data management tools
• Knowledgeable in working with metadata
• Possess strong visual skills, attention to detail and an eye for consistency and color
• Self-driven, proactive problem solver that thrives in a creative collaborative environment
• Superb organizational skills, strong communication skills in both written and verbal forms to navigate a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently while delivering brand standards
