Pennington Biomedical Research Center , a world-renowned academic research institute of Louisiana State University, is seeking a Research Project Assistant in the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory.

Major Responsibilities

• Processing biological specimens for testing.
• Maintenance of Clinical Chemistry Core (CCC) and PBRC Biorepository programs.
• Management of central laboratory processes associated with clinical trials.
• Development of laboratory processes and documents for assigned clinical trials.
• Field support of clinical trials conducted in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Defense.
• General laboratory maintenance and quality control.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science related field.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
