NETWORK ENGINEER

Key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. Leveraging your expertise in, Sonicwall Firewall, Aruba HPe switching, Aruba Wireless, and topology design, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative networking solutions that meet the needs of our clients and support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Design and Implementation: Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure solutions using My Notes, Sonicwall Firewall, Aruba HPe switching, and Aruba Wireless technologies, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Topology Design: Develop and implement network topologies that optimize performance, minimize latency, and support the requirements of our clients and business operations.
• Configuration and Optimization: Configure and optimize network devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points, to meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Network Security: Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access control lists, to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
• Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot network problems to ensure uptime, availability, and responsiveness.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures, and provide regular reports on network performance, security, and capacity.
• Vendor Management: Work closely with vendors and service providers to procure hardware, software, and services, and ensure timely resolution of network-related issues and escalations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CWNA) preferred.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role, with expertise in My Notes, Sonicwall Firewall, Aruba HPe switching, Aruba Wireless, and topology design.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Nagios.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
