unspun is a robotics and digital apparel company, with a mission to reduce global carbon emissions by 1% through automated, localized, and intentional manufacturing.

Included in Time's Best Inventions & Fast Company's World Changing Ideas, unspun aims to rapidly transition the trillion-dollar apparel world into one that is more intentional, inclusive, and efficient by focusing on the overlap between sustainability and profitability.

We've developed a proprietary and patent-pending technology at the crossroads of 3D printing and automated textile manufacturing. By skipping the flat 2D fabric stage, we can additively build custom apparel products from the ground up- straight from yarn to final product. About You

You enjoy working on early-stage teams and thrive in a rapidly-evolving environment. As the first recruiter at unspun, you'll partner directly with our People Lead, founders and hiring managers. You'll own all aspects of the hiring process and be the driving force building the team that will help unspun change the world.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a brand ambassador for unspun, representing our mission and values at every touchpoint with candidates
  • Own the end-to-end recruiting process, from sourcing to offer stage
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to broaden our candidate pool and attract top talent
  • Schedule and coordinate all interviews
  • Conduct initial phone screens and on-site interviews
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and create targeted job descriptions
  • Standardize and optimize our core recruiting processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of passive candidates for future hiring needs
  • Analyze recruiting metrics and report on key insights to drive continuous improvement
Ideal Qualities

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in a startup environment
  • Proven track record of successfully hiring for technical roles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Passion for unspun's mission and values
  • Familiarity with modern recruiting tools and techniques

Originally spun out of Stanford and the University of Colorado, we now call the Bay Area home, with strong ties to Hong Kong. Benefits

The annual salary range for this role is $95,000 - $130,000 USD, depending on experience.
