Recruiter
Position Summary
We are seeking a Recruiter to join the Human Resources team. This individual will report to the VP, HR and will be based in its New York City (Flatiron) headquarters.
The Recruiter will support the full lifecycle recruitment process for positions including but not limited to Marketing, Creative, Sales, Project Management, eCommerce more. They will represent the e.l.f. Beauty in providing a positive and seamless candidate experience.
Responsibilities:
Oversee job postings, sourcing talent, conducting & scheduling interviews, and creating offer letters
Drive a consistent screening and evaluation process for all candidates
Lead meetings with hiring managers to determine ideal candidate profiles, recruitment cadence and strategy, and hiring process logistics
Develop innovative external candidate sourcing strategies through various channels: networking through industry contacts, recruitment technology and hiring events to build diverse talent pipelines
Promote diverse recruitment strategies to ensure talent pipeline is inclusive of all backgrounds, cultures, and experiences
Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter system to maximize quality of applicant flow
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and track trends in market to attract top talent and recommend innovative strategies to enhance processes and elevate the candidate experience
Develop and maintain a pipeline of candidates for current and future needs
Utilizes relevant metrics to measure and report on the effectiveness of sourcing tools and strategies
Perform administrative tasks as needed such as scheduling and candidate engagement throughout the recruitment process
Lead the offer process by understanding compensation expectations of candidates, effectively communicating the e.l.f. Beauty compensation philosophy, working with hiring managers on the appropriate within-budget offer and finally approval from the Executive Team
As needed, work with external recruiting agencies/firms to facilitate recruiting efforts for either highly technical or difficult to fill roles
Requirements:
3+ years’ experience with full-lifecycle recruiting in-house at a high-growth company in a competitive market, specifically experience recruiting for positions across all parts of the business
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, specifically in articulating position requirements and company culture to candidates
Prior Experience Working In An In-house Setting Strongly Preferred
Proven skills in recruitment across all levels with a focus on fostering a best in class internal and external recruitment experience
Demonstrated ability to use technology (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, HRIS systems) to gather, interpret, organize and present data
Demonstrated ability to negotiate with and hire candidates in a competitive market
Passionate about DE&I in sourcing and implementing candidate attraction strategies
Sound judgment and critical thinking skills; successful management of multiple projects and competing priorities while balancing the needs for quality with meeting deadlines
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills; evidence of self-motivation; demonstrated ability to plan, schedule and work both independently and in teams within a service-oriented organization
Ability to effectively prioritize and work under pressure as well as work with confidential and/or sensitive materials
Experience with Lever (ATS) is a plus
