Venture University offers individuals the opportunity to gain high quality investment experience and training through deal sourcing, conducting due diligence, participating in Partner Meetings and Investment Committees, making 1-2 real estate focused investments per quarter, and sharing in the financial upside on the investments made via a profit sharing agreement.



Program Overview:

An 11 week real estate investor accelerator program that combines an academic curriculum (Masterclass + Advanced Modules + Fireside Chats) with an Investment Apprenticeshio Program where individuals gain high quality investment experience by joining a real estate private equity fund (VU Capital Partners), becoming a member of one of the three investment teams (residential, commercial, industrial), focusing on sourcing, due diligence, and deal execution, presenting at partner meetings, and participating on investment committees.


Individuals can join the real estate investor accelerator for 1-4 quarters to learn, gain experience, and build a track record of 1-2 investments per quarter. Individuals will also receive a profit sharing agreement to share in the financial upside of the investments.


The program is designed for individuals looking to break into the real estate private equity industry in a variety of ways, such as joining a fund in an analyst to partner level role, professionalizing yourself as a family office or angel investor investing in the real estate asset class, or launching your own syndicate or investment to do real estate investing.


Individuals can join the program virtually from anywhere, and can participate full-time or part-time.


Schedule:

Week 1 & 2:

Real Estate Private Equity Masterclass: Covering residential, commercial, and industrial real estate


Opportunity Madness: See a large number of opportunities presented to investment team


Week 3-10:

Academic Program: Advanced Modules (Tuesdays/Thursdays), Fireside Chats (Wednesdays)


Apprenticeship Program: Partner Meetings (Mondays), Management Meetings (Wednesdays), Team Meetings (Fridays), Investment Committees (Ad Hoc)
