Fun mid-sized company that works with a lot of different applications for industrial coatings looking for an experienced industrial formulation chemist!

Responsibilities:

• Develop new general industrial paint formulations
• Solve coating issues using knowledge in Polymers and Coatings
• Advise manufacturing in solving production issues
• Test and approve raw materials
• Add quality assurance steps in the production process to assure quality of product
• Solve problems

Technical Qualifications:

• BS/MS/PhD in chemistry or related
• 20 years of industrial coating experience
• Experience performing analytical testing and quality testing
• Self-starter, well organized, attention to detail and motivated
• Ability to wear many hats
• Ability to work with suppliers, vendors, and support sales
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
