Wachter is currently accepting applications for Quality Assurance software Tester in our Lenexa, KS office with a hybrid work schedule. This position is responsible for designing test scenarios for software usability, running these tests, and preparing reports on the effectiveness and defects to the software developers, managers, and directors.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on knowledge of API testing through UI supported elements
• Experience in software testing, system testing, and regression testing.
• Understanding of Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience with automated testing tools
• Proficiency in testing web and client-server applications
• Highly knowledgeable in QA techniques and methodologies
• Field experience with multiple environments for testing and deploying changes
• Experience with Azure DevOps ticketing and queries
• Familiarity with using a Wiki as a dynamic learning resource
• Willingness to find answers, ask questions, and explore processes using all available resources
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  
  
  

Helpful Skills/Knowledge:

• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
• Experience with T-SQL querying and relation databases
• Experience with Mobile phone testing
• Understanding of the CI/CD Pipeline

• Document testing processes and writing test plans to ensure business requirements are completed and delivered as planned
• Delivere training information and presentations regarding tested applications to customers and stakeholders
