Public Relations Manager

This is a hybrid position with a minimum of 3 days in the NYC office. The successful candidate will understand the nuances of different markets and cultures to tailor PR strategies accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic PR campaigns to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders.
• Proactively seek out opportunities for media coverage and feature placements.
• Write compelling press releases, pitches, and other PR materials.
• Coordinate and manage media events, press conferences, and product launches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated marketing efforts with PR as the core competency.
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and potential risks.
• Handle media inquiries and manage crisis communication when necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in PR, either in-house or with an agency.
• Deep understanding of today's media landscape, including digital and social media platforms.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Creative thinker with a curiosity to experiment with new ideas and strategies.
• Experience in home, home textiles, fashion, or lifestyle industries preferred.
• Willingness to go above and beyond to achieve results, including occasional travel and flexible hours.
