If so, join our team as we are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Project Coordinator to join our close-knit team at Detroit Recovery Project.

Our client is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) that provides outpatient recovery support services for those with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. We treat the whole person through our integrated programs of primary medical and behavioral healthcare.

Through strong therapeutic relationships with our clients, helping them to understand the underlying social and emotional issues that drive their substance use, the recovery ecosystem focuses on five key areas:

What we’re looking for:

Our client is currently seeking a full-time Project Coordinator for their Family Tree Grant (Treatment and Recovery Services Enhancement and Expansion). The Project Coordinator will engage in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, Multidimensional Family Therapy, Seeking Safety Therapy, Marijuana Anonymous, Stop Tobacco and Nicotine Dependence Program, Mindfulness Meditation, and the Strengthening Families Program. The Project Coordinator will ensure adherence to protocols, policies and procedures of the Agency and the evidence-based intervention models for service planning and program implementation.

Compensation: This position pays $50,000 per year and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience. This is a salaried-exempt role that is ineligible for overtime compensation.

The Ideal candidate will:

  • Market and distribute information to ensure the necessary referral network and program sustainability requirements are met.
  • Have experience working with individuals within the SUD, COD, and/or Behavioral Healthcare communities.
  • Be comfortable providing, coordinating and facilitating trainings, and continuing education opportunities.
  • Complete reports as required by the Program Director.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in guidance and counseling, psychology, social work, vocational rehabilitation, business or public health administration or related field required.
  • Experience in working with the community.
  • A valid and unrestricted State of Michigan Driver’s License and insurance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Electronic Health/Medical Records Systems is a plus!
