About Firm Wide AI

The Firmwide Generative AI Team at Morgan Stanley is a dynamic and innovative department that serves as a center of AI enablement for the firm. The team is responsible for deploying advanced systems that utilize generative artificial intelligence to optimize business processes. The team oversees governance and control measures to ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies. The team is committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and provide education on AI technologies to other departments within the company.

Position Overview

We are searching for a motivated Program Manager to join our Firmwide GenAI team. The Program Manager will play a vital role in supporting the deployment of GenAI solution, assisting in project execution, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination: Assist in developing project plans and scheduled for GenAI initiatives. Coordinate project activities and ensure alignment with organizational objectives under the guidance of senior team members.

Stakeholder Engagement: Support effective communication with internal stakeholders, including product owners, engineering teams and other key personnel. Participate in meetings to provide updates, gather feedback and address project-related issues.

Risk Identification: Assist in identifying potential risk and issues that may impact project delivery. Work with senior team members to develop mitigation strategies and monitor project performance to address challenges proactively.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project alignment and synergy. Contribute ideas and insights to drive collaboration, innovation and knowledge sharing across GenAI initiatives.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Support the monitoring of project performance metrics and KPIs to measure progress against objectives. Assist in generating regular reports and presentations for senior management to provide visibility into project status and outcomes.

Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and enhance the effectiveness of GenAI programs.

  • Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, particularly in the areas of AI, machine learning and/or data analytics.
  • Understanding of AI concepts and tools, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a face-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Passion for innovation and a commitment to staying updated in the latest advancements in AI technologies and training methods.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $135,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
