Production Supervisor Role:
As a Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing our production processes. You will be responsible for leading a small team of assembly workers, ensuring that production targets are met, and maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, fantastic interpersonal skills, strong technical and computer skills, and the willingness to operate warehouse equipment and get your hands dirty when your team needs a hand..
Production Supervisor Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of assembly workers, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and productivity. If you don't have amazing interpersonal skills, please don't apply.
Production Oversight: Monitor and manage the assembly process to ensure that production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently met.
Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain high product quality and prevent defects.
Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resources.
Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels, and collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure materials and components are readily available.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and standards to create a safe working environment for all team members.
Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on production performance, challenges, and improvements to the management team.
Problem Solving: Address any production issues, conflicts, or disruptions in a timely and effective manner.
Communication: Foster clear and open communication within the team and between departments to ensure a smooth production process.
About You:
High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in a production or assembly role with a minimum of 5 years.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures.
Proficiency in using computers, iPads, production management software and tools.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Attention to detail and a focus on process improvement.
The ability to operate forklift, Walkie stacker, pallet jack.
Strong mechanical mechanical knowledge
Ability to move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work while standing, walking, bending or twisting for long portions of the day.
