Production Operator

PRODUCTION OPERATOR:
Under the direction of the Production supervisor, Production Operators are responsible for putting together all mechanical components and parts to assemble water meters.

PRODUCTION OPERATOR:
Under the direction of the Production supervisor, Production Operators are responsible for putting together all mechanical components and parts to assemble water meters.

- Verify correct materials according to traveler
- Assemble first piece and obtain approval from area supervisor
- Assemble product according to process sheet

- Other tasks or duties as assigned
- Able to use hand tools and power tools
- Manual dexterity and good motor skills
- Strong hand-eye coordination
- Attention to details
- Organized
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive, eager to learn
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to safely maneuver up to 70 lbs
- Steel-toed safety shoes and safety glasses are required
- Able to work overtime daily and on weekends when required
