Product (Private Label) Associate

We are seeking an experienced Product (Private Label) Associate to join our team and uphold our company values: Treat People with Respect, Be Responsible and Do the Right Thing.

As a Product (Private Label) Associate you will have expertise in private label processes and procedures and provide guidance and education to our vendor partners.

Essential Job Functions:

Manage multiple complex vendor partnerships, having an in-depth and comprehensive understanding of vendor/retailer processes within functional responsibility.

Educates and assists vendors in evaluations and processes, provides guidance on compliance requirements and communicates retailer expectations.

Provides product guidance

Manage product recall investigations

Minimum Job Requirements:

Familiar with concepts, practices, and procedures within a retail setting

Exercises proven solid judgment

Reliably handles job complexities

Builds and maintains internal and external relationships

Effective verbal and written communication skills, with ability to message appropriately and professionally

Organized, able to prioritize, and pay attention to detail; able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously effectively

Strong problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills

Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others, yet able to work independently

Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals

Bachelor’s degree preferred

At least 7 years of related experience in retail and/or CPG environment

Proficient in MS Windows, Office Products, Adobe PDF; MS Excel expertise required
