Position Title: Product Owner
Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA OR Wilmington, DE is first preference, remote is accepted; Hybrid - 3 days per week in office

Credit Card Platform Development Product Owner
As a Credit Card Platform Development Product Owner, you will create re-usable omnichannel card processing APIs to support the seamless operations of business-critical credit card journeys across digital, mobile, voice recognition and human assisted channels.
Position Profile
Key responsibilities in order of which they will be doing day 1 and frequently followed by those they will be doing as the project/work progresses:
Experience in the financial industry (preferred)
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. SAFe certification and/or similar agile certification is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Essential Functions
- Responsible for Product Development of credit card capabilities, that accurately integrates credit card data, business logic, eligibility rules and controls
- Responsible for mapping business or technical use case scenarios into actionable epics and stories for rapid product development and delivery
- Partner across various organizations, systems and applications to ensure components integrated adhere to architecture designs
- Maintain alignment amongst key stakeholders, product managers, business owners, and business and technology leadership
- Lead an agile development crew in agile ceremonies, working with product managers, business system analysts, scrum masters, developers, architects and testers on a daily basis ensuring the delivery of high quality and fully tested microservice APIs
- Daily tracking and escalation of key risks, dependencies, blockers and impediments to development progress or delivery

Position Profile

- Executes on the vision and the definition of the product. Serves as the voice of the client.
- Provides guidance to concentrate the agile crew’s effort on correct priorities based on business value.
- Defines and conveys the vision to the team(s) in order to address client requirements to meet business objectives.
- Accountable for the creation of and the integrity of the product backlog. Prioritizes and leads grooming of the product backlog.
- Works in partnership with the Scrum Master to ensure items are worked on in accordance with the product backlog. Serves as the primary point of contact for questions from the crew.
- Accepts delivery of working product from the agile crew. Reviews and validates agile crew’s working product. Socializes the delivery of business value and outcomes of the sprint iteration to various stakeholders.
- Leads sprint demos to showcase the crew’s development progress, and incorporate valuable feedback from stakeholders.
- Conducts PI or quarterly planning to ensure agile crew commits to realistic deliverables, prioritizing effectively to execute on the product vision and realize business value
- Experience in credit or debit cards (required)
- Experience working with near real-time steaming data, cloud technology, building APIs, middleware/systems/platforms
- SAFe Agile Development – Knowledge of and ability to utilize formal SAFe agile methodologies, disciplines, practices, and techniques for the delivery of new and enhanced systems and applications.
- Business Acumen – Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- Interpersonal Relationships – Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- IT Standards, Procedures & Policies – Knowledge of and the ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to manage organizational IT policies, standards, and procedures.
- Managing Multiple Priorities – Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
- Matrix Management – Ability to build and use effective working relationships within own department and across department, functional, and geographic reporting lines.
- Organizational Leadership – Knowledge of, and ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing, and achieving objectives.
- Planning and Organizing – Mobilizes both time and resources to get things done.
- Solutions Development – Knowledge of and the ability to assess customer needs and provide solutions for them.

Experience in the financial industry (preferred)
- Experience SAFe Agile certified or equivalent (highly preferred)
- Experience in BIAN data model ( highly preferred)
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate business strategies and technical concepts to all management levels.
