Process Engineer

The candidate for this position will be responsible for leading process safety and mechanical integrity programs and adhere to PSM requirements and safety policies set by our corporate office. This position will be the SME for mechanical integrity and safety within the plant.

Responsibilities

• Leading efforts to maintain mechanical integrity and reliability of the plant
• Leading the process safety plan for the plant and adhering to PSM requirements and goals set by our corporate office
• Audit and determine risk techniques as it relates to as it relates to PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) and recommend methods to improve
• Conduct root cause analysis on plant incidents and investigate causes and solutions further
• Act as the MOC coordinator for the plant and maintain all process safety data
• Gather all data as it relates to process safety and mechanical integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• Familiarity with process control
• Excellent written and oral skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
