Private Credit Originations

Job description:

Our client is a leading global investment firm with a 50bn AUM private credit business. They seek to hire a member to their investment team!

Responsibilities:

• Deal Sourcing: Identify and originate private credit investment opportunities through direct outreach, networking, and leveraging existing relationships with borrowers, financial sponsors, and intermediaries.
• Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment. Work closely with internal teams and external advisors to evaluate creditworthiness and investment potential.
• Deal Structuring: Structure and negotiate terms of private credit transactions, including loan agreements, covenants, and other key documentation. Ensure deals are aligned with the company’s investment strategy and risk tolerance.
• Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with borrowers, financial sponsors, intermediaries, and other stakeholders to facilitate deal flow and support long-term business growth.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of total work experience within an alternative asset management firm
• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier institution
• Demonstrated professional and academic achievement
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong quantitative skills, including knowledge and understanding of finance and accounting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
