Location: Remote, must reside in Central or South Florida
Travel up to 30% throughout state of Florida

This client-facing role includes pre-sales consultation while leveraging hands-on and post-sales implementation. Here you'll work with emerging technologies in a role that is pivotal in delivering cutting-edge solutions in data protection, storage, and virtualization to our clients across Florida. Job Description:
This client-facing role includes pre-sales consultation while leveraging hands-on and post-sales implementation. Here you'll work with emerging technologies in a role that is pivotal in delivering cutting-edge solutions in data protection, storage, and virtualization to our clients across Florida. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise in storage and data protection/management.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop/architect solutions in data protection, storage, and virtualization tailored to client needs. Craft Statements of Work (SOW) and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Work side-by-side with clients to understand their requirements and propose effective solutions.
- Serve as a technical expert in storage and data management, guiding clients through best practices and innovative approaches.
- Partner with customers and internal sales teams to identify opportunities, participate in client meetings, and assist in closing deals.
- Conduct demonstrations and presentations to clients.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in storage, data protection, and virtualization, public/private cloud.
- Collaborate with the post-sales team to ensure smooth implementation and client satisfaction.
- Advance training/certifications to maintain relevance and partner requirements.
Primary Skills Required:
- Knowledge/experience in storage and data management. Primary Storage, Object Storage.
- Expertise in data protection methodologies and technologies.
- Strong foundation in virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with public and hybrid cloud environments.
- Understanding of security principles relevant to storage and data protection.
- General networking and automation technologies.
- Data Classification/Governance
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4+ years or equivalent experience in pre-sales architecture, specifically in storage, data management, and data protection. Former engineer with storage, virtualization, and public/hybrid cloud with a track record of pre-sales highly desirable.
- Proven track record with commercial, enterprise, and State/local government accounts.
- Ability to travel within Central and South Florida.
- Preferred experience with enterprise-class storage, PURE, DELL(EMC), NetApp, or others.
- Cloud Storage, tiering, and cost understanding. – Cost to serve exercises Azure Blob, Wasabi, AWS S3.
- Pre- or post-sales certifications in one or more storage and data protection platforms.
- Application dependency mapping, OS, Application, and virtualization IOPS calculations
Preferred Skills and Certifications:
- JSON and API understanding with other systems are a plus
