PR Account Executive- Beauty

Purple is looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our vibrant Beauty team. The ideal individual should have prior experience in a traditional and creative beauty sector; can constantly evolve as we grow and possesses superior account and time management skills while collaborating with multiple senior team leaders and junior staff. Responsibilities:

Contribute to the ideation and implementation of brand strategy

Directly liaising with luxury beauty clients with the support of senior leadership

Strategic pitching across features, founder stories and product placement

Strong event experience

Knowledge of industry leader across Make Up Artists, Hairstylists, derms etc

Identify and track emerging trends, initiatives in the digital space and develop relevant client applications

Maintain and establish industry contacts with press and digital influencers

Support the team with key launches and events

Be a brand champion for your clients and build strong relationships with them

Proactively monitoring all media, print, digital and social channels for brand coverage and competitor activity, scanning relevant articles for distribution around the team

Lead and manage PR campaigns with the support of Senior team

Knowledge of the influencer and media (print, digital& broadcast) landscape and develop targeted media lists.

Assist senior team on project management and workflow and recognize flow changes when needed

Support on mailings, strategy execution, brand partnerships and PR and influencer initiatives

Support in preparing internal/client meetings including pulling together agenda’s and writing up minutes

Build and grow media relationships by attending press meetings, launch events and any external industry related events

Oversee and mentor junior staff

Skills and Experience

2-4 years of relevant working experience

Beauty PR experience is required

Superior knowledge of luxury consumer industry

Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously

Excellent written and verbal skill
