POS Deployment Technician - some 3rd shift, Orlando

Description

Corserva is looking for a POS Deployment Technician.

The deployment technician will replace current POS systems with a modern tablet and mobile based system using modernized software, tablets, mounting, and peripherals. Deployment technician will configure tablets, stage, install, and decommission legacy equipment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Configure POS tablets with proprietary software image
• Asset un-boxing, inventory and tracking
• Image and customize tablet as required
• Stage various terminal configurations in preparation for installation
• Install tablets and associated peripherals outside normal business hours
• test to ensure that all peripherals are integrated with the POS application
• Perform any needed software integration
• Once terminal installation and software integrations are complete, test to ensure that any necessary software integrations are functioning properly with the POS application
• Decommission old POS terminals and associated peripherals
• Return all spares to designated staging area to be utilized for subsequent staging/installation
• Assist in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of tablets, printers, POS terminals, credit card readers, etc.,
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience with POS tablet hardware and associated peripherals (e.g. printers, scanners, mounting units, etc.)
• Previous deployment experience
• Previous experience supporting, troubleshooting and/or installing hardware, software, tablets, monitors, printers, various peripherals and quality cable management skills
• Professional IT Certifications, such as A+ certification.
• Diagnosis skills of technical issues
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
• Maintain availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Strong work ethic, strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work well and communicate within a team as well as work independently
• Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request details
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
• bend, stoop, lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• stand and walk continuously throughout an 8 hour shift
