Oberfields LLC is currently seeking an individual to work as a Plant Manager at our Sunbury, OH facility. The Plant Manager position will report directly to the Regional Operations Manager.
Job Description
Oversee production control for multi-shift manufacturing.
Oversees the tracking and flow of paperwork for all production inventory transactions that are needed.
Provide production reports as required.
Monitor types of products produced by plant for current and future capacity planning.
Manage the fiscal responsibility for the Sunbury business unit.
Effectively manage all personnel
In cooperation with the Human Resources Department, interview, hire, review, and discipline personnel as deemed necessary.
Train and develop personnel to allow them the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Professionally train operators in equipment operation, inspection, and problem recognition.
Ensure all employees are professionally trained on forklift and front-end loader equipment.
Motivate employees to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Schedule personnel for proper coverage
Promote teamwork within the department.
Complete regular performance evaluations and maintain record of employee accomplishments and challenges.
Ensure the effectiveness of all processes within your circle of influence in satisfying our customers’ needs in the most efficient manner possible.
In cooperation with all teammates, evaluate and modify processes as needed to constantly improve our ability to serve our customers.
