Hi There! The People Ops Team at the Krazy Coupon Lady is looking for a People Ops Intern to join our team for the Fall Semester. Our team is looking to move at a fast pace as we continue to grow as an organization and roll-out new programs and policies to further support our employee base.

We are looking for someone that will:

  • Own document review
  • Research HR best practices and present their findings and recommendations
  • Take the lead on sharing HR communications with our management team
  • Proactively read and share best practices on HR research
  • Reviewing HR data and sharing your findings with the team
  • Help us with special projects such as engagement surveys, benefit guide, well-being programs and performance management
  • Assist with coordinating our recruiting efforts


What you will get out of this internship is the ability to walk away with concrete HR experience and ownership over a project to help you in your next role. In fact, a “final project” is to recruit and hire your HR Intern replacement.

Who we are: We are a team of 2 HR professionals with almost 20-years of combined experience in which to help you learn this function. Our team also likes Swedish fish, kickball and dogs!

Responsibilities

  • Assist recruitment efforts by managing candidates through the applicant tracking system, posting jobs, scheduling and conducting interviews, and supporting key sourcing initiatives
  • Design/Recommend strategies, deliver solutions and measure effectiveness in new and existing HR programs/policies
  • Schedule and support the execution of onboarding and training for new employees
  • Pilot training programs and help us create engaging and educational content
  • Conduct research needed for the HR department including recruiting, policies, learning and development, benefits, compensation, etc
  • Support the administration of our HRIS to understand best practices around personnel files, workflows and data integrity
  • Project management and research skills for various initiatives
  • Facilitate employee engagement through company-wide announcements, birthdays, and anniversaries
  • Other tasks and projects, as assigned


Requirements

  • Previous HR internship experience and/or an HR specific degree


Physical Requirements

  • Use of Fingers: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling
  • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly
  • Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound
  • Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading
  • The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned
