Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for an Account Manager at Miller Startup & Restaurant Marketing located in Minneapolis, MN, with flexibility for some remote work (remote work up to 80%, on-site client visits 20%). The Account Manager will be responsible for managing social media client accounts, developing and implementing social media management strategies with the Managing team, providing progress reports to clients, occasionally upselling clients to better fit their needs, and going above and beyond to ensure client satisfaction. The role involves weekly meetings with clients (virtual), direct communication with Social Media and Content team members to keep everyone updated on client needs, analyzing social media performance, recommending adjustments, and occasionally visiting clients in person to assist with Content Sessions, attend events, and build rapport. This role is one of the most important in the company, as you will act as one of the sole lines of communication between clients and employees, ensuring no tasks or details are dropped and that the client receives deliverables that are up to standard and on time.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, or a related field
  • Proven experience in account management, marketing, or a similar role
  • 3+ years experience required growing personal or business social media accounts (Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook)
  • Knowledge about email marketing software and strategies preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with clients (professionalism and a friendly and positive attitude is a must)
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Knowledge of the restaurant industry is highly preferred
