New Store Openings Manager

What to expect
The new store opening team’s mission is to ensure franchisee openings are following a proven
process for a successful and timely opening. This team is directly responsible for guiding
franchisees through every step of their openings and being the liaison between performance,
construction, real estate and brand standards.
Who is right for this role?
You have a track record of strong project management and have franchise experience (non-
negotiable). You enjoy creating, implementing and improving processes and have broad
business acumen. You are an excellent communicator, and believe in being a detailed oriented
leader.
What you will do
- Onboard new franchisees onto the SWTHZ franchise system. This includes but is not
limited to ensuring new store opening tasks are completed, presales performance is
met and scheduling launch trainers for the opening of a location
- Provide white-glove support to franchisees throughout the store opening process,
including training, marketing, staffing, and more
- Coordinate with various departments (e.g., operations, marketing, construction) and
external vendors to ensure store openings are completed on time and within budget.
- Compliance: ensuring that all new store openings respect the design and intent package
- Train on the presales system so franchisees can open their location profitably
- Monitor the performance of studios in presales, and bring in the director of studio performance when necessary
- Provide weekly calls with franchisees and report on their progress and performance
- Continuously identify and improve the NSO process by communicating with all leaders in the organization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in operations and/or project management for retail businesses
- 2+ years of experience in a new store opening role in franchising
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Proficient with word, excel, powerpoint, and general technology collaboration tools
