Job Description
- As part of the Network and Security team, the Network Technician will provide support for network installations throughout the district.
- Under general supervision, this role is responsible for configuring and monitoring wireless access points, visiting sites to verify installations, and documenting issues for engineers to resolve.
- Configuring Wireless Access Points
- Monitoring Wireless Access Points
- Validating network installations
- Quality Control on network equipment
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills needed to create instructions, respond to inquiries, and relay instructions to others
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with basic networking and troubleshooting
- Experience with Meraki Wireless networks
- Experience with wireless testing equipment
- Ability to articulate clearly technical issues
