Job Title: Research Engineer

Location: Cupertino, CA (on-site)

As a Research Engineer Contractor, you will play a crucial role in moderating user studies, setting up and organizing devices, and assisting with technical tasks associated with confidential studies. Successful candidates will possess strong soft skills, clear communication abilities, organizational prowess, and a solid understanding of hardware/software. Responsibilities:

Moderate User Studies:

• Conduct moderate user studies on Company campus with FTE's.
• Demonstrate expertise in strong soft skills, clear communication, and organizational capabilities.

Device and Equipment Setup:

• Set up and organize devices and other equipment for on-campus studies.
• Showcase expertise in hardware/software understanding and computer/device setup experience.
• Demonstrate good troubleshooting skills to ensure smooth operations during studies.

Technical Assistance:

• Assist with technical tasks associated with confidential study bring-up across multiple technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of research initiatives.

Qualitative Data Collection:

• Understand qualitative aspects of collecting data and the participant journey.
• Contribute to the enhancement of data collection methodologies for improved insights.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in moderating user studies and setting up devices for research purposes.
• Strong soft skills, including clear communication and organizational abilities.
• Solid understanding of hardware and software, with demonstrated computer/device setup experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Experience with confidential study bring-up across multiple technologies is a plus.
