Mobile Developer

BodySpec is seeking a detail-oriented Mobile Developer who will help the software team expand and enhance our web presence on the iOS and Android platforms.

This role is an exciting greenfield opportunity for someone with a passion for fitness and data visualization. You’ll be creating mobile apps used by our clients to monitor their progress along their health journey with a small dedicated team, and taking on technical leadership roles as the team grows along with the company.

As a Mobile Developer, you will work closely with our Sales and Operations teams to ensure the day-to-day functionality of our systems that book appointments, process payments, securely manage client body scan data, and present results with relevant health information to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development:

• Assisting software team with the mobile experience of the BodySpec website
• Building BodySpec’s presence in the iOS and Android ecosystem
• Designing and building a mobile application from the ground up leveraging existing internal APIs and BodySpec’s backend that provides an enhanced version on our websites reporting
• Experience with developing for the App Store or Google Play Store preferred
• Experience building progressive web applications is a plus
  
  

• Developing new features for our customer-facing website and future mobile apps like
• Visualization of report results data
• Geo located push notifications
• Booking and payment systems
• Monitoring platform analytics for marketing conversion performance
• Google Analytics or Smartlook experience is a plus
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or greater in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent certification from a technical education institution, or at least 3 years of related job experience in a Series A or earlier stage startup
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and helpful, and an insightful self-starter
• Quick learner with an avid curiosity and sense of passion for technology
• Excellent collaborative skills
  
  

Compensation:

Annual starting salary range of $105,000 to $125,000 (DOE)

• Full-time team members receive $500 per month in team bonuses if we hit our monthly team revenue and individual performance goals
• Annual bonus pool for the team if targets are met
• All team members regardless of status or position are eligible for stock option grants, which are awarded based on performance
