PLEASE NOTE- there is a lot on the JD below but the is not a heavy project management role, nor is it development. Its supporting a large project the client has going on and the person needs:

  • Experience managing B2C sites
  • Client is working on a major data platform project so someone that has experience with something like this
  • Candidate needs AEM experience and a general CMS background-strong understanding of system functionality and how to fix issues, this is not an AEM developer position and there isn’t a ton of development required from this person. Yes they will work with and support tech lead, QA, and 3rd party developers. SO they do need to solid understanding of these types of projects

This isn’t really a project manager. Its someone a little more technical in nature. ALOT of what you see under requirements is a plus they don’t need the dev skills, they don’t need AWS

Digital Product Manager (IT) to manage our websites and Digital technology ecosystem. We are building a world-class consumer experience across different channels, including our owned D2C sales channel. We need a self-motivated IT Digital Product Manager who can manage all our platforms to ensure optimal performance and build a product roadmap for continued improvements. If you are looking to join a team to help build incredible online consumer experiences, this is the job for you.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Own and manage all code and UX changes to Brand.com sites. Monitor code quality and syntax consistency between 3rd party developer(s) and internal IT. Liaison between EDP/IT department and Digital Marketing, eCommerce for all Change Requests, Live Errors, and Development Projects with a presence on Brand.com sites and other digital channels.

Manage and plan code releases and coordinate deployments with the QA Manager, Technical Lead, and Release Engineer. Liaise between 3rd party developers and internal EDP/IT to deploy code on time.

Independently manage the full project life cycle for new website code releases, from initiation through post implementation; including (but not limited to) requirements gathering and prioritization, defining scope and schedule, obtaining approvals, documenting change requests, managing development, testing, training tasks and troubleshooting, post launch analysis, marketing, eCommerce, and future growth strategy.

Effectively lead cross-functional teams (marketing, eCommerce, Sales, finance, legal, business, operations, quality assurance, and development) to successfully deliver new website initiatives.

Plan, lead, and execute for Web UX test and learn plan to continually optimize the consumer experience on Brand.com and other digital channels.

Oversee the development and maintenance of business requirements for Website & digital channel IT projects. Lead project team members both internally/externally to achieve project milestones and deliverables. Work with business stakeholders on user acceptance testing to determine if website build is deemed acceptable for launch/deployment.

Build and manage project scope and project plan for web site productions, including production scheduling, resource allocation, status reporting, coordination and delivery of code, and quality assurance.

Work with Marketing Analytics, eCommerce to gather business requirements and implement desired tagging to meet reporting needs, and 1st party data acquisition and storage.

Manage all marketing technology products to ensure proper data connectors and flows, as well as UX/CX including AEM (CMS), DAM, Shopify (D2C), Tealium (tag manager and CDP), Email, and more. Work with Marketing to deploy multi-channel digital campaigns across owned channels utilizing targeted consumer data. Lead QA, testing, and deployment based on business needs and timelines. 

Manage all eCommerce technology and products. Along with eCommerce team, coordinate third party, Internal EDP teams to ensure the eCommerce projects delivery quality.

Manage all website and data servers to limit down/outage time and ensure optimal page speeds.

Work with the Marketing, eCommerce team to measure, test, monitor, and deploy SEO technical changes to ensure optimal organic search performance.

Work with internal stakeholders to draft business requirements for new web& digital platform projects, and brief design and development agencies to execute new projects.

Work with Legal and Data Privacy teams to ensure proper management of consumer PII data.

Work with Branding team to ensure and support the branding projects deployment.

Required Qualifications

  •        7+ Year IT digital project delivery experience. Programming and development for Content Management Systems (CMS), preferably Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  •  Expert in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Intrusion detection systems (IDS), Intrusion prevention systems (IPS)
  •        Expert in Amazon Web Servers (AWS) Management and Optimization
  •        Agile Development and Project Management
  •        Ability to manage cross-functional teams and external agencies.
  •        Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline, Master’s preferred. 
  •        Domestic and international experience and multi-cultural mindset is preferred
  •        Successful execution of complex projects
  •        Excellent communication, motivation, and coordination skills
  •        Goal oriented and self-managed personality with a strong entrepreneurial spirit  
  •        Strong problem solving and risk management skills.
  •        International and demestic travels is about 10-15%.
