Marketing Intern

About Role

Ring Concierge is a rapidly growing female-founded fine jewelry company specializing in customized engagement rings and fine jewelry. We are seeking a Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team this summer. In this role, you will delve into the heartbeat of our brand, working closely with our Marketing team to explore innovative partnerships, track industry trends, and curate captivating social content. This internship provides a unique opportunity to dive into the fine jewelry world within an exciting, high-growth company.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Social Media team to brainstorm content ideas based on current industry trends
• Research new up and coming brands that align with RC for future partnerships (i.e. Gen Z brands that RC should get involved with)
• Assist with building influencer lists and researching editorial contacts
• Add talent to social listening tool (Mighty Scout) and support team with influencer social media monitoring
• Help team monitor UGC to be shared on our own social channels, monitor RC hashtags, keep track of who is posting us without tagging
• Order marketing collateral for events and retail activations or store openings; help brainstorm what supplies are needed
• Help facilitate sample trafficking and influencer/editor gifting, coordinate messenger and courier service or hand deliver to talent when applicable
• Assist with providing our PR agency with product briefs, images and links against all new product launches and influencer/celebrity dressing features
• Help pull fine jewelry from the Fine Ops/Inventory team for content creation needs
• Assist with in house content creation on engagement rings to be featured on social media
• Assist in maintaining Pinterest
• Maintain the marketing closet, helping with cleaning & steaming. Order materials to replenish closet for content creation, and responsible for taking pieces used for shoots to the dry cleaners as needed
• Assist with photoshoots as needed including supporting sample tracking and managing the return of clothes
• Organize and maintain the digital asset library, assist in the migration of asset management from iPhone to Air, streamlining the organization and accessibility of creative resources
• Assist with email and SMS campaign creation and management.
• Assist performance marketing and retention in writing creative briefs for campaigns and copy needs.
• Prepare marketing reports as needed by the performance team.
• Provide briefs and marketing assets to external agencies to support campaigns and promotions.
• Assist the marketing team with ad-hoc projects as needed

Requirements

• 1 year of relevant experience in Brand/Influencer Marketing or Social Media; experience in retail or luxury eCommerce is a plus
• Must be proficient in Excel and Mac computers, Office and Google Suite
• Familiarity with Dash Hudson and Air is a plus
• Must be local to the NYC area
  
  

Details - NYC

• Hybrid role located in midtown NYC
• Office Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the knowledge that we have a startup culture and your day may extend past listed office hours (with the possibility of weekends during busy season or sales)

• The hourly rate for this position is $20/hour
