Topcon Healthcare is looking to offer an internship program from June 3, 2024 until August 1, 2024. This is a paid program located in the Oakland NJ office. The hours for this program are Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm. Come join the Topcon Healthcare team to help build real-world skills and knowledge to influence your education and career path.

The Marketing and Event Intern will assist the marketing department in advertising and promotional efforts. The main duties include supporting clerical and administrative duties, collaborating on social media campaigns and preparing promotional materials and presentations. The events intern will work directly with tradeshow staff in event planning and promotion. The daily responsibilities will include communicating with vendors on event logistics, attending meetings of the planning committee as needed, and organizing and purchasing materials and supplies.

Core Intern Responsibilities:

• Helping to coordinate inventory with Exhibit House
• Assist with promotional items and presentations.
• Assist with logistics and paperwork and managing trade show dates.
• Assist with tradeshow bookings and registrations.
• Conducting research on industry shows
• Support Live Webinars and social media and digital activities.

Major, minor, and/or concentration in one or more of the following is preferred:

• Marketing
• Business
• Communications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience in rapidly becoming proficient in new software
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team/cross-functionally
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint
• Experience in coordinating events a plus
