Job Description


The Director of Marketing is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of Taco Mac’s marketing initiatives. This leader combines vision, creativity, and business acumen to build brand awareness and competitive relevancy, while driving strong sales results year over year.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Lead the strategic vision, development, and execution of Taco Mac’s marketing strategy to drive guest count, AUVs and EBITDA, while increasing brand awareness and overall competitive relevance in the marketplace. Provide weekly sales updates and insight into changes in sales and traffic.
  • Responsible for defining, communicating, and activating the brand consistently across all consumer touch points and media channels, including the in-restaurant experience, advertising creative, social media, digital channels, Brewniversity loyalty program and public relations.
  • Define a best-in-class customer journey across digital and in-restaurant channels to deliver a consistent, frictionless guest experience that drives guest frequency over time.
  • Develop innovative marketing campaigns to increase Taco Mac’s visibility and awareness in the marketplace, while strengthening the Brand image.
  • Partner with IT to enhance the Brewniveristy loyalty program to effectively facilitate the exploration of craft beers, grow visit frequency and increase new member registrations.
  • Spearhead key initiatives, including developing the annual marketing calendar, leading new menu innovation, enhancing all online ordering channels and ensuring a strong social media strategy that delivers Taco Mac’s Brand pillars.
  • Oversee Local Restaurant Marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Develop and execute compelling promotions and activations to drive traffic, including March Madness, Craft Bracket, Fantasy Draft parties, etc.
  • Oversee the third-party delivery strategy and marketplace menus to ensure rates are economically sound and the guest experience is consistent with Taco Mac’s owned channels.
  • Conduct extensive market research and stay abreast of industry trends to remain relevant in the industry.
  • Create the framework for customer segmentation, target customer strategy, social and online marketing campaigns by utilizing a data-driven approach.
  • Monitor and track customer engagement through social media, targeted email campaigns and participation in Brewniversity.
  • Build and develop a high performing team to execute all marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare all strategic marketing plans and budgets.



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or similar field. Commensurate experience will be considered.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a marketing role with restaurant experience.
  • Proven success with Brand Strategy, Strategic Planning, Social Media engagement, Loyalty programs.
  • Creative and analytical mind with strong attention to detail.
  • Results and deadline driven.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
