Job Description

Manufacturing Plant Operations Manager – Food/Beverage

Well-respected Food/Beverage market leader with well-known, iconic brands seeks a hands-on, energetic results-driven Plant Operations Manager. The successful candidate will lead the plant operations with responsibility for production and production planning at this highly visible flagship facility.

You will coordinate the production and technical activities in processing and packaging for up to 500 employees, with 5 direct reports. This is a premier manufacturing plant where you will be a key member of the Leadership team.

You will achieve excellence through people management and development, driving employee engagement, and meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

This role is both strategic and tactical. While you will focus on the execution of the day-to-day activities you will also contribute to the growth and development of the team and business operations to meet future organizational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in Operations/Plant Management, within the food and beverage industry,
• Experience working in a medium to large size plant.
• Union experience, highly preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Passion for the development of people.
• Manufacturing experience is required within Food / Beverage industry.
• MUST be able to relocate for a promotion opportunity in about 3 years. Most likely for a Plant Mgr. opportunity, so this is an outstanding opportunity for career advancement.
• Must have experience in a medium to large plant - ideally over 500 employees.
