The Manager/Sr Manager of Strategic Finance, reporting to Maisonette's COO/CFO, is responsible for a wide range of finance activities to support leadership with key decision making. You will work cross-functionally to develop a strong understanding of the key levers that drive the business and help set and measure performance on those key metrics..

Key Responsibilities Include:
Strategic Planning:
Build and manage a comprehensive multi-year forecast model, including P&L, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows; help operationalize this forecast by working cross functionally to set KPI targets, track progress, and assist in execution
Analyze monthly results and bridge actual financial results to forecast, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of variance, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, operating metrics, and capital expenditures
Run the annual budgeting & multi-year strategic planning processes. Be a key thought partner to all business leaders and proactively think through ways to optimize the business to perform more efficiently
Manage weekly cashflow projection and reporting process
Assist the leadership team in board & investor communications, equity & debt fundraising, and associated prep work
Ad Hoc Analysis:
Perform other ad-hoc analyses to inform key decisions around margin, cashflow, and growth optimization strategies
Partner closely with business leaders to make strategic decisions supported by comprehensive data analytics and strong understanding of financial trade-offs
Financial Operations:
Partnering with the accounting team to ensure timely completion of month-end close, insights into accruals, flux review processes, and deliver high quality financial reporting
Design and optimize flexible FP&A processes and systems to meet the needs of a dynamic and fast-growing business environment
Qualifications:
6+ years experience in a combination of investment banking or strategy consulting, and FP&A/strategic finance roles at fast-paced startups
Expert-level financial and operational modeling skills
Highly analytical, creative thinker who can focus on the details without losing sight of the big picture
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Looker or Tableau, familiarity with NetSuite a plus
Understanding of GAAP financial principles
Ability to prioritize shifting priorities
Strong independent contributor with the ability to work cross functionally with colleagues who have less strong financial acumen
Salary + Perks:
$85k-$115k annually, commensurate with experience
